PİYANO VE ÖNCÜLLERİNİN ( KLAVİKORD, KLAVSEN) İCRA SANATI TARİHİNDEKİ ROLLERİ / THE ROLES OF THE PIANO AND ITS PREDECESSORS (CLAVICHORD, HARPSICHORD) IN THE HISTORY OF PERFORMANCE ART
Analyzing the stages in the diachronic development of the piano from its origin to the present day makes it is possible to understand the piano better. This diachronic development beginning with the four stringed monochord in the Medieval Europe, continued its technical evolution with clavichord and harpsichord, the integral part of the music culture, and developed into the instrument closer to that which we know today.
The development was sophisticated by the cast iron technique which brought in the rich and rotund voice. Diachronically developed mechanism, double fork benefited the technical development. Along with the development of the pedals on the piano enriches the piano music with a new color, a new voice. From the point of view of the composer, the technical developments of the piano accompanied the novel variety he or she brought about.
Its structure which makes it possible to play every genre of music makes it universal. This dynamism becomes a source of inspiration for the composers, develops the technique of virtuosity, and makes it possible to have an important place in concert halls.
Turning the history of art upside down, the adventure of this instrument began with the involvement of the three countries, Italy, Germany, France each playing roles in the process of its emergence independently of each other. This adventure is explained sistematically in the table in the article.
