Özet: Bu çalisma. Dogu Anadolu Tarimsal Arastirma Enstitüsü tarafindan kurak sartlar için gelistirilenPalandöken-97 ekmeklik bugday çesidi ve yerel bir çesit olan Kirik bugday çesidinin belirli periyotlardasu stresine maruz birakilmasi sonucu çimlenme sonrasindaki dönemlerde ortaya çikan fizyolojikdegisimlerin gözlemlenmesi amaciyla yürütülmüstür. Deneme sonunda kök uzunluklari bakimindan kullanilanbugday çesitleri ve uygulamalar arasinda istatistiki olarak bir farkliligin görülmedigI, kökagirliklari bakimindan ise uygulamalar arasindaki farkligin istatistiki anlamda önemli oldugu tespit edilmistir.Buna benzer olarak gövde uzunluklari ve gövde agirliklari yönünden uygulamalar arasindaki farkliliginistatistiki olarak anlamli oldugu saptanmistir. Abstract: This study was performed by East Anatolia Agricultural Research Institute on Palandöken-97bread wheat and Kirik wheat. a local type. for the observation of physiological changes appeared duringsprout periods as a result of leaving them under water stress for some period. At the end of study. itwas determined that there was no statistical difference in terms of root lengths between the wheattypes used and between the applications. However. it was determined that the difference in terms ofroot weights between different applications was statistically important. Similarly. it was determinedthat the difference between applications in terms of body lengths and weights was statistically meaningful.In addition. it was also determined that there were differences between applications in termsof root length/body length ratios but there was no difference in terms of root weightlbody weight ratios.When biomass values of plants taken into account it was observed that there exists differences betweenapplications.Key Words: Wheat, water stress, Kirik.
